The Valahian Journal of Economic Studies, from the very first issue, the tackled theme aimed at the research of economic phenomenon with a view to European integration by reporting it to the trend of the European Economic Science. The exactingness imposed by the editorial staff resulted in an immediate visible increasing of the quality standards and the scientific content of the magazine. In obvious scientific progress, from a number to another, the publication was requested (a subscription change) by higher education institutions in this country and from abroad. The journal is known and requested in the Scientific National community. On the occasion of different events and scientific manifestations under the aegis of annals. VJES welcomes papers only in English. Authors are encouraged to have their manuscript reviewed for language before submission.

Beginning with the year 2010, Valahian Journal of Economic Studies is the continuation of  “Les Annales de l’Universite Valahia de Targoviste - Section: Sciences Economique”, ISSN 1453-8202, Recognized by the National University Research Council (CNCSIS) No. 765, category B+ and BDI after being indexed in EBSCO, DOAJ, CABELL’S DIRECTORIES, REPEC, PROQUEST
