Author Guidelines

Publication Process

1. After receiving the manuscript we will send a confirmation e-mail to the author.

2. Manuscripts will be checked by Plagiarism checker software as part of the Internal Review.

Internal Review
All submissions first go through an internal peer review process. Each submission is being verified with an Anti-Plagiarism Software (http://www.strikeplagiarism.com/), and after papers are accepted for further reviewing only the ones that do not exceed 20-25% (for at least 6 pages) of information taken from other sources. The editorial secretary makes an initial decision to send the manuscript out for peer review or to reject without external review. Articles can be rejected at this stage for a variety of reasons such as: 20-25% of information taken from other sources, similarity with a recently published article, the topic is outside of the scope of the Journal, little new information is provided, important flaws in the scientific validity, or an unprofessional presentation. This process normally takes 5 days. If the editor believes the article may be of interest to our readers, it is then sent out for external review.

3. Primary quality will be checked by the Editor.

4. The manuscript will be sent for double blinded review - External review.

External Review - double-blind peer review process
Each submitted paper undergoes a double peer-review, by two different referees, which lasts for almost a month. After the technical review process, the manuscript may either be accepted in its initial form, or recommended for modification and further review, or simply rejected.
The research papers received by the reviewers will be assessed according to the ten following criteria:
1.Preciseness and the information content of the title;
2.Relevance of the presented information;
3.Structure of the paper (abstract, key words, introduction, content, conclusion);
4.Wording, orthography and punctuation;
5.Relevance and utility of the research;
6.Accessibility and full understanding of the statements;
7.Abandon of the abuse in citing;
8.Ethical aspects;
9.Display of alternative approaches;
10.Focus on results, interpretations and conclusions (level of creativity).
The scientific reviewers will elaborate a report based on these criteria, following a standard format that highlights and explains to what degree has been met each criterion in the reviewed research paper.
The papers together with the review reports are further on directed to the Editorial Board by the Assistant Manager.

5. Based on the double blinded review editor will take decision and the decision will be communicated to the author. Decisions can be three types like accepted without revision, resubmit with major/minor revisions, rejected.

There's no submission fee but you must follow The required submission format.


Publication fee

For the accepted research papers are applicable the following publication fees:

Contributions from Valahia University of Targoviste authors 150 RON*/paper
Contributions from Romanian authors, except Valahia University of Targoviste 300 RON/paper
Contributions from foreign authors 100 EUR/paper
Contributions from at least one author Valahia University of Targoviste + one or more authors from abroad 200 RON/paper
Contributions from at least one author form Valahia University of Targoviste + one or more Romanian authors (except Valahia University of Targoviste) 200 RON/paper
Contributions from at least one author form Romania (except Valahia University of Targoviste) + one or more authors from abroad 75 EUR/paper

*Note: RON is the abbreviation of the Romanian national currency.

The authors are charged by 200 EUR as publication fee for second paper published in the same issue.
